Built for: performance marketers, creative strategists and brand founders who want to learn from what's already working in their niche without copying it.

Clone the mechanism. Never the advertisement. A UGC ad that's been running for months is a real signal — someone found a hook, a pacing, a proof mechanism that keeps working. The mistake is treating that as permission to download it, swap the logo and re-upload it. This folder is 15 reusable Claude skills that do the harder, legitimate version of that instinct: find advertisements worth studying, work out why they might be working, strip the idea down to its transferable structure, and rebuild it from nothing — original character, original script, original footage — around a completely different product.

The idea this system is built on.

An advertisement's execution — its exact words, its footage, its specific creator — is what the law and the platforms protect. Its mechanism — the order it reveals information in, where the hook sits, how long the product takes to appear, how it handles the obvious objection — is a transferable idea, the same way a three-act structure or a call-and-response chorus is transferable. This folder is built entirely around extracting the second thing and building something new from it, never the first.

When to use this

Use it when your team keeps saying "there's an ad in our space that's clearly working, we should do something like that" and then either copies it too closely or has no real process for turning the observation into an original concept. It assumes access to a Claude account, the Meta Ad Library or TikTok Creative Center (both free and public), and an AI image/video generation tool for producing the final character and scenes. It will not identify a guaranteed winner — longevity and scale are signals, not proof — and it will not generate finished video for you; it produces the prompts, scripts and specs you feed into whatever generation tool you use. Pair it with The Claude UGC Lead Generation System once concepts are built, and The Winning Clip Multiplier once you have a proven original clip of your own to scale.

How This Folder Works

Ten steps, start to finish. Skills 01-13 each do one step (or a closely related pair); Skill 15 runs all of them as one guided workflow; Skill 14 is the guardrail every other skill defers to.

The rule every skill in this folder follows: clone the mechanism, never the advertisement. Skill 14 spells this out in full — read it before running any of the others if this is your first time through the folder.
